About the Role

Insight Global is seeking a Product Specialist to join a telecommunications company in Moncks Corner, SC. In this role, you will help build and maintain a product portfolio supporting Home Telecom's services. You will participate in focus groups, represent the company with vendors, travel to trade shows, contribute to product vision and roadmap, and coordinate product development and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Help build and maintain a product portfolio that supports Home Telecom services.
Participate in focus groups with sales, marketing, and customer service on product reviews and customer feedback.
Represent Home Telecom in interactions with vendors in a positive and constructive way.
Travel to trade shows to research new products to advance Home Telecom services.
Contribute to the overall product vision and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure successful product development and launch.
Work with warehouse and purchasing to maintain product inventory lists for all products.
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse to enter new products into inventory and set initial limits.
Manage product availability in conjunction with purchasing.
Coordinate the product development lifecycle for products such as CPE Calix, Cables Modems, Mesh Units, VOIP Endpoints, Managed Services equipment like Ubiquiti Edge Routers, Adtran, Ciena NID, and Cisco NID.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience within IT (network side).
Network Plus or industry certifications such as Comp TIA.
General understanding of ISP products including cable modems, ONTs, wireless mesh.
Experience with Jira.
Ability to work independently.
Telecom industry background.
