Product Support Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Attend formal factory training classes to learn and understand all facets of the product.
• Perform Clinical Applications Training at customer sites for all Digirad Products, including camera operations, software applications, and clinical applications.
• Provide education and in-service training on acquisition, processing, display, protocols, DICOM interface, and patient positioning.
• Prepare and present instructional technical materials such as user manuals, instructional guidelines, and software applications.
• Support product management by providing marketing input regarding product requirements.
• Assist with product roll-out processes, including marketing materials and reference site development.
• Support market research activities to define new product requirements.
• Support clinical trials and validation of new products when appropriate.
• Collaborate with senior management on business results and strategic planning.
• Assist with sales and technical training courses, materials, and collateral for employees and end-users.
• Perform product demonstrations and training to aid sales efforts.
• Help develop marketing collateral for market preparation, launch, and maintenance.
• Follow through on deadlines, use good judgment in business decisions, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and/or prior product applications experience.
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to perform walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to follow deadlines and use good judgment in business decisions.

Nice to Have

• Associate's degree in a related field.
• Coursework and training in industry-specific marketing methods and techniques.

Qualifications

• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.
• 5+ years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or related product applications experience.
