Key Responsibilities

  • Manages project scope and supports the process of identifying project requirements.
  • Provides support to production team to remove roadblocks and clarify questions, assigns appropriate owners to prevent issues and enhance performance.
  • Proactively manages and monitors execution of deliverables, project status, and reporting of overall project status.
  • Manages all change requests, validates all schedule and budget impacts, and communicates approved changes to all stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Supports the stand-up execution of new projects, assumes responsibility for the accuracy of work processes and flow of tasks, and understands various team roles.
  • Demonstrates experience managing project schedule and prioritizing tasks based on critical path, determines overall project schedule and timeline.
  • Ensures project tracking tools are populated correctly, processes are documented and followed, and assesses work for quality and accuracy.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and helps project resources enhance productivity.
  • Proactively assigns work, monitors team performance, and provides instructions; develops team members through regular feedback.
  • Mentors and guides project resources to improve productivity and problem-solving abilities.
  • Participates in interviews to provide expert criteria on selection processes.
  • Reports and manages overall project/release status to project sponsors and stakeholders, proactively reporting on deliverables.
  • Creates, validates, and applies risk mitigation plans at the project level, escalates unresolved issues, and ensures stakeholders understand risks.
  • Builds trust relationships with clients and main project stakeholders, exerts positive influence, and guides team members on stakeholder engagement.
  • Predicts client issues and raises concerns to supervisors.

Requirements

  • High School required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Program & Project Specialist role.
  • Experience managing escalations at project level and ensuring resolution of project risks.
  • Experience managing communication plans and effectively communicating ideas to multiple stakeholders.
  • Good experience working with multicultural teams and understanding cultural diversity in communication.
  • Experience validating and creating time estimations, and driving estimates by deliverable.
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts and leading project budget management with support.
  • Experience creating basic project cost estimations and managing costs.
  • Creativity and flexibility in creating and driving project plans, determining deliverables, approach, teams, critical path, productivity improvements, risks, and planning assumptions using Accenture Delivery Methods (ADM).
  • Good communication, problem-solving, team player, work ethic, decision-making, strategic thinking, conflict resolution, attention to detail, time management, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

Qualifications

  • High School diploma.
