About the Role

The Program Manager (Marketing Operations) will partner with the Chief of Staff and Marketing leadership to enhance operational efficiency and lead cross-functional marketing programs. This role involves process improvement, technology optimization, and ensuring strategic alignment within a high-growth technology organization, based in Mountain View, CA with a hybrid work model. The position is a 12-month contract focused on delivering operational excellence and program leadership to support marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Chief of Staff and Marketing leadership to identify, develop, and implement processes and tools that enhance operational efficiency and velocity of the Marketing organization.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional marketing programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, on-time completion, and within scope.
  • Define project scope, set timelines, manage resources, and identify and mitigate risks associated with marketing programs.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across various marketing teams and with other departments to ensure integrated program execution.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within existing marketing workflows and develop solutions to streamline operations.
  • Establish KPIs for programs, track progress, and provide regular reports on program status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including project plans and post-mortem analyses.
  • Assist in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new marketing technologies and tools to enhance operational velocity and team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of demonstrable experience in a Program Management role, ideally within a marketing or high-growth technology organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously from initiation to closure.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct analysis, identify insights, and recommend actions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision.
  • Ability to communicate with executive teams, business, and recruiting leaders.
  • Proactive and self-directed with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
