About the Role

The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of a project within the Biomedical Engineering Service department, including project schedules, status reports, presentations, meeting calendars, equipment orders, and logistics. They also ensure project budgets are maintained, negotiate with vendors, and coordinate the logistics of project activities and resource deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Managing all aspects of a project, such as project schedules, status reports, presentations, and meeting calendars.
Handling equipment orders and logistics related to project activities.
Ensuring project budgets stay within the pre-determined budget.
Negotiating prices with vendors.
Reconciliation of monthly budget sheets.
Expediting orders and/or deliveries of products and resources from vendors.

Requirements

Require an associate degree in a related field, bachelor's preferred. A high school diploma/GED/Certificate and additional years of related experience on a year-for-year basis can be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Require a minimum of two (2) years of project coordinating experience, preferably within a hospital setting.

Nice to Have

Demonstrated ability to perform project budget monitoring and scheduling.
Familiarity with Microsoft applications, Smartsheets, and commonly used software applications required for equipment planning.
Demonstrated contract negotiating and technical writing skills.
Ability to interact and interface with all levels of staff and management.
Ability to speak in public and conduct presentations.
