  • Demonstrate and promote MITRE's cultural attributes such as speed, risk-taking, adaptability, collaboration, grace, and respect.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams.
  • Provide regular feedback to staff and contribute to staff development.

  • Manage the equities of multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain an accurate and complete staffing plan.
  • Complete monthly highlights and the project annual report.
  • Ensure execution and implementation of N162 Technical Quality norms and processes.
  • Collaborate across MNS, MPS, and MITRE Labs to ensure appropriate staffing for project needs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 10 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 7 years' experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Must have prior experience working in Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • An existing, active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to be cleared for SAPs.
  • Proven track record in making technical contributions including work shaping to meet sponsor needs.
  • Experience with all aspects of project management, such as work shaping, staff planning and selection, recruiting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of the DoD and DAF sponsor space and missions, with experience working at senior levels across multiple organizations.
  • Superior sponsor engagement and communication skills, especially in sensitive, high-risk customer contexts.
  • Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics to sponsors and staff.
  • Minimum of 4 days a week on-site work requirement.

Nice to Have

  • Strong technical background in areas such as advanced sensor technologies, modeling and simulation, complex systems engineering, digital engineering, electronic warfare, offensive cyber, or software engineering.
  • MS or equivalent degree and 15 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of MITRE's organizational structure, work programs, and value proposition.
  • TS/SCI and SAP clearances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
