About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide research & technology (R&T) project management and guidance for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and associated statement of work as delegated by the Program Manager
• Planning elements in support of the program-integrated schedule
• Ability to integrate large multi-year projects and small near-term projects
• Integration and utilization of standards and best practices (process and tool) within the IPT and in support of cross-IPT integration
• Review the status of projects, manage schedules, and prepare status reports
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with stakeholders
• Support customer meetings and status requests
• Ability to work in a rapid-paced team environment, along with working independently
• Create and present in-depth presentations to executive-level management
• Proven ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously (coordination, status, and performance to plan)
• Cross-functional coordination and leadership to achieve project goals
• Risk assessment and mitigation
• Foster business partnerships with internal customers and functional organizations
• Demonstrate business acumen, managing with influence, and strong interpersonal relationships and communication

Requirements

• Bachelors degree with 5-9 years of related experience or Masters degree with 3-6 years of related experience
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to create and present in-depth presentations to executive-level management
• Schedule development appropriate to project scope
• Technical background to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to integrate large multi-year projects and small near-term projects
• Business acumen to quantify project implications and coordinate with Finance on tracking to plan
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with executive leaders
• Ability to manage with influence and lead multiple teams simultaneously
• Proven ability to balance multiple projects (coordination, status, and performance to plan)
• Experience with SAP, ERP, MRP, and EXRP
• Risk assessment and mitigation skills
• Ability to foster business partnerships with internal customers

Nice to Have

• PMP or other PMI Certification
• Individual project management and tracking as part of a larger portfolio
• Ability to develop schedules by project scope
• Technical background for working with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing environment, lean processing, and industrial engineering concepts

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 5-9 years of related experience or Masters degree with 3-6 years of related experience
