Job Description

About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing industrial operations or maintenance projects at a district or site location. The role involves ensuring safety, managing personnel and resources, coordinating with vendors and clients, and supporting technician development. The position requires a focus on safety standards, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, aligning with TEAM's core values of safety, integrity, service leadership, innovation, pride, respect, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to safety and quality standards and practices, and legal regulations, and alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns.
  • Acts as a liaison between the customer and vendors/internal groups to resolve conflicts such as engineering package delays, equipment scheduling conflicts, and manufactured item deliveries.
  • Assumes responsibility for technician personnel activities on the site, including management of events/projects within scope of experience and TEAM procedures.
  • Reviews all customer work records to ensure thorough documentation, proper purchase orders, and clear costing and pricing of work.
  • Provides cost tracking against internal costs and external purchase orders as needed.
  • Coordinates material and equipment purchases/orders to meet customer requirements.
  • Facilitates technician growth and development by aligning training and experience opportunities with career paths and technical training plans.
  • Monitors technician training, manages field evaluation processes, and evaluates crew mix for maximum profitability.
  • Prepares customer quotations and prices completed job packages once work is complete.
  • Oversees purchasing activity, works with vendors to ensure timely receipt of costs, and manages site inventory and quarterly cycle counts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Travel requirement up to 25%.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills, including speech and hearing capabilities.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform routine office duties.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity and personal mobility to perform office duties and travel as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or industry-related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in industrial operations or maintenance.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Three or more years of experience in industrial operations or maintenance (preferred).
  • Previous supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX (preferred).
