Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) offers transportation services like FTL (Full Truckload), LTL (Less Than Truckload), brokerage, cross-border trucking, groupage, and sortation hubs, connecting Maersk or Customer warehouses or depots or cross-dock/consolidation/deconsolidation facilities through a robust network led by best-in-class operations and technology. This integrated network services multi-channels such as B2B, B2C, B2B2C, e-commerce, direct to store, dropship, returns, and more, leveraging asset-based, asset-light, and non-asset models.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee projects across OpsEx including new equipment, new site moves/openings/closures, and identify requirements for data products to support different user groups and ensure adoption.
- Own the OPEX component of MOS to support local teams and promote a shift towards structurally solving challenges rather than fire-fighting.
- Coordinate with teams to support global initiatives, identify and provide resource support, and track initiatives' impact on GP and EBIT.
- Drive standardized Operational Excellence across the Regional MGF Operations organization to ensure process alignment, standardization, and network optimization.
- Collect feedback from Communities, SMEs, etc., to ensure continuous improvement of the engagement model.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in the industry.
- Able to drive change management and challenge the status quo and senior stakeholders.
- Experienced facilitator with a data-driven approach.
- Hands-on Lean experience and ability to lead without authority.
- Possess a can-do attitude and drive results.
- Team-oriented with active involvement in team engagement across different locations.
- Understanding of outcome and input metrics.
- Ability to create followership.
