Job Description

About the Role

You will be the Proposal Analyst Manager for our Estimating team. Our team is responsible for developing and planning proposals in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements. This position is located in Orlando, FL, and involves leading proposal development, managing a team, and interacting with government agencies. The role requires a U.S. citizen able to obtain a secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training
  • Overseeing proposal development, including cost, schedule, and technical elements
  • Developing and implementing bid/price strategies and cost methods
  • Conducting financial modeling and analyses, including rate studies and business case development
  • Directing research and analysis of historical data to support proposals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of financial policies, procedures, and processes with deep financial and business acumen
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic and financial analysis
  • Strong familiarity with MFC financial systems (EFS) and ability to query data for ad-hoc analyses
  • Exceptional technical financial modeling skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic projects
  • Very organized, proactive/strategic project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects, follow through, and adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Demonstrated experience in the identification, qualification, and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Strong technical, systems engineering, and production acumen
  • Strong analytical skills to dissect and understand cost proposals
  • Experience and comfort in presenting to executive management
  • Ability to create compelling executive-level presentations to support decision making
  • Prior experience with driving enterprise-wide culture change and process improvement initiatives impacting multiple functional stakeholders
  • Familiarity / experience with ProPricer
