About the Role

The Children's Home of Lubbock is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to provide social media, graphic design, and digital media marketing support to the Development Department. The role involves creating cohesive brand strategies and promotional materials for print, web, digital, and social media platforms, contributing to the organization's outreach and engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all social media platforms and the organizational website to ensure content is timely, engaging, and mission-aligned.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar for publications, digital campaigns, mail appeals, email appeals, and special events.
  • Supervise the production and distribution of marketing materials, including coordinating printing, mailing, and digital formats.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in public relations, media relations, communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers, medical personnel, and others involved in care.
  • Meet licensing standards including a criminal background check and tuberculosis screening.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital media marketing and graphic design.
  • Knowledge of emerging promotional tools.
