About the Role

Ecco Select is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for a 12-month contract to hire role in Kansas City, MO. The position involves leading QA efforts with API testing experience, managing at least two other QA analysts, and ensuring quality standards for software releases, updates, and automation. The role requires collaboration with clients, technical leadership, and participation in planning and executing QA strategies to support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for hands-on automated testing while following practice guidelines to help build and update automation solutions
Iterates and introduces sustainable validation frameworks and coordinates related teams in delivering marketing technology solutions
Participates with management in planning short- and long-range automation strategies and provides input on technology and automation matters
Responsible for helping to build robust, high-quality infrastructure and applications
Provides technical review to ensure projects meet technical recommendations, integration goals, and deliver expected benefits
Anticipates system and industry changes, presenting information and analysis to facilitate proactive opportunities
Works with technical leadership to develop tactical strategies in coordination with project management
Communicates actions, outcomes, and results to technical and non-technical audiences
Leads at least two other QA analysts and manages responsibilities related to test planning, execution, and progress

Requirements

7+ years of in-depth experience utilizing Automated Testing Solutions
Proven experience using BDD for functional, presentation, and API automation
Demonstrated experience in core JAVA, Selenium, jUnit
Knowledge of Zephyr, Postman, GitHub
Extensive experience testing scalable API employed at every stage of the development lifecycle, including within CI/CD pipelines
Ability to anticipate and independently provide solutions for complex problems
Comprehensive understanding of multiple test methodologies
Quick absorption of complex technical and/or conceptual information
Ability to work on multiple complex tasks against deadlines and shifting priorities
Proven ability to grow capabilities of others and share knowledge
Experience automating tests for mobile and web applications, and APIs
Experience in performance test automation using tools such as JMeter, sitespeed.io, and soapui
Strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and testing tools
5+ years of automated test development experience
Proficiency working with JAVA, Selenium, jUnit
Experience with build and deployment automation using Jenkins, Zephyr, Postman
Ability to work onsite in Kansas City, MO

Qualifications

7+ years of experience with Automated Testing Solutions
4+ years of API automation experience
5+ years of experience with JAVA, Selenium, jUnit
