Job Description

About the Role

The Regional Account Executive is responsible for identifying high-profile regional account opportunities, securing agreements for both rental and direct sale programs via the phone and in-person customer visits. The RAE will provide ongoing customer interaction to support the Vestis relationship with its regional account customers and attain annual quota on direct sale and rental new business. The role involves updating and maintaining an Electronic Contact Management System, communicating with prospects and customers, qualifying and reporting on corporate accounts, maintaining awareness of contract statuses, and identifying ways to grow margins and improve processes. Vestis is a leading provider in the B2B uniform and workplace supplies category, serving a broad range of North American customers including Fortune 500 companies and small businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify high-profile regional account opportunities and secure agreements for rental and direct sale programs via phone and in-person visits.
  • Provide ongoing customer interaction to support relationships with regional account customers.
  • Attain annual sales quotas for direct sale and rental new business.
  • Update and maintain an Electronic Contact Management System.
  • Communicate with prospects and customers through email, phone, fax, etc.
  • Qualify and report on the Corporate Accounts Pursuit Program.
  • Maintain awareness of the contract status of all Fortune 1,000 businesses and maintain ongoing contact within the territory.
  • Identify ways to grow margins and implement process or cost improvements for customers.
  • Generate monthly activity and results reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years outside sales experience in a business-to-business selling environment.
  • Experience with MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting and initiating relationships with executives in diverse business environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the uniform or workplace supplies industry.
  • Knowledge of contract management and corporate account pursuit strategies.
