About the Role

The Regional Account Manager at Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is responsible for managing client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence within their designated book of business. This role involves active engagement with clients and internal teams to develop solutions, manage RFQ opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives, all while maintaining a high level of customer trust and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with vertical leaders to review business plans and create value propositions.
  • Provide, document, and review one strategic solution per client managed in their book of business per quarter.
  • Conduct internal and external business reviews on a monthly basis, sharing insights with team members and executive sponsors.
  • Manage relationship alignment, network penetration, and act as a trusted advisor internally and externally.
  • Create and deploy SOPs to respective origin/destination points and obtain sign-off.
  • Manage RCCA process and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee strategic RFQ opportunities and engage with Implementation Managers for new business.
  • Manage anomaly and exception reports related to financial and operational aspects.
  • Drive cross-selling opportunities within the Crane group (e.g., Crane Freight, Crane Trade, Brokerage).
  • Define, document, and gain sign-off on Scope of Work both internally and externally.
  • Write and deploy invoicing requirements, collaborate on collections, and maintain AR below company goals.
  • Drive 10% net revenue growth year-over-year for their book of business.
  • Travel both internationally and domestically as required.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum five years of related experience, with at least four years in the industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically.
  • Physical ability to perform job functions, including sitting or standing for extended periods, and using standard office equipment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with managing RFQ processes and SOP creation.
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five years related work experience.
  • Minimum four years industry experience preferred.
