About the Role

The Regional Field and Trade Marketing Manager leads promotion of all company and related subsidiary and affiliate brands, executes marketing campaigns, manages regional field marketing teams, and collaborates cross-departmentally to build brand awareness, loyalty, and customer acquisition in the Midwest region. The role supports growth in state-legal markets and works closely with sales, distribution partners, and national teams to align regional marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead collaboration efforts between sales and marketing to develop, implement, and analyze regional marketing initiatives and strategies.
  • Manage a team of local Field and Trade Marketing Managers and oversee their activities including store visits, activations, events, and budtender training.
  • Oversee and assist with the execution of local monthly marketing calendars, including activations, media, and support for national campaigns.
  • Manage regional budget for events, swag, travel, and budtender engagement, estimating costs and ensuring proper execution.
  • Develop, collect, and share monthly regional marketing and sales recaps with key stakeholders.
  • Create and manage key brand partnerships with local businesses and non-profit organizations to foster community relations.
  • Work with the Sales Director to roll out brand strategies and initiatives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities within the region.
  • Collaborate with national marketing and cross-functional teams to align on regional priorities and support localized campaigns.
  • Lead, facilitate, and share best practices with Field and Trade Marketing Managers on regional initiatives.

Requirements

  • BA Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in field marketing, brand marketing, and implementing integrated campaigns across multiple locations.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Dispensary or related retail experience.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, advertising, event planning, out-of-home media, and other advertising mediums.
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing planning tools and strategies.
  • Ability to give dynamic product and marketing presentations.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills using tools like Canva, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and analyze marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales and operations teams.
  • Reliable vehicle or transportation for travel to in-state events and retail locations.
  • Candidates must live in a priority market within their territory.
  • Ability to work occasionally on weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

  • BA Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
