The role involves developing and directing a sales region to maximize sales volume and revenue for Interventional Technology products within the specified region, ensuring strategic execution and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, train, lead, and develop key personnel for strategic execution of objectives.
  • Assist in designing and developing strategic direction for domestic sales programs and policies to meet sales and profitability goals.
  • Ensure the sales organization successfully implements and executes company strategies.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with key accounts and physician champions.
  • Support clinical needs of customers and facilitate new product approvals through champion development.
  • Make key presentations to stakeholders including physician leaders, VP/Executive Service Line Directors, and C-Suite staff.
  • Develop KOL advocates to educate and influence stakeholders regionally and nationally.
  • Support contract discussions with hospital and IDN leadership to gain account access.
  • Execute territory strategies through customer interactions, ride-alongs, and conference attendance.
  • Plan and monitor regional sales performance, develop quarterly action plans, and prepare reports.
  • Manage financial planning including expense compliance, budgets, forecasts, and product pricing.
  • Assist in designing incentive-based compensation plans to motivate sales personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including complaint handling, customer interactions, product training, and Sunshine Act reporting.
  • Supervise and develop sales team members, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and addressing complaints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree (required).
  • 5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in the medical device industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales management position or equivalent.
  • Proven managerial skills for coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Experience in Electrophysiology and/or the Cardiovascular Service line preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently domestically (50-75%).
  • Physical ability to sit constantly, lift/move up to 10 pounds, and perform occasional keyboarding.
  • Experience with customer relationship management and strategic sales planning.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Electrophysiology and/or the Cardiovascular Service line.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science.
