Job Description

About the Role

The Renewals Executive for Midmarket at Autodesk is responsible for driving, forecasting, and closing large and strategic renewals opportunities by working directly with customers and resellers/partners. This role requires a dedicated focus on individual accounts, building customer-specific engagement plans in collaboration with TASE, CSM, and Partners. The position involves managing opportunity pipelines, providing sales support, and serving as an escalation point for renewal issues to ensure customer retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales quotas
  • Manage opportunity pipelines and forecast for Midmarket accounts
  • Provide deal-specific primary and secondary sales support, including deal creation, development, presentation, negotiation, and closure
  • Serve as an escalation point for renewal issues impacting customer retention and drive risk mitigation execution
  • Identify customer upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Report and analyze sales results by customer segment, region, sales channel, and product
  • Coordinate and execute collaborative meetings with channel partners, Midmarket sales, and customers to increase renewal performance

Requirements

  • 8+ years of sales/renewals experience
  • Proven ability to negotiate $1M+ complex sales/renewals deals
  • Working knowledge of SFDC (Salesforce.com)
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and exercise sound judgment in solutions
  • Experience undertaking complex negotiations with customers and partners
  • Contributing to building customer plans and achieving business objectives
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Experience working in a technology or software company
  • Additional languages spoken and written

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years sales or renewals experience
  • Proven success in negotiating large, complex deals
