Job Description

About the Role

You combine an understanding of sales and marketing dynamics, a keen eye for detail, synthesis of vast information while making it usable and fun among a diverse sales audience and are well-versed in managing executive-level stakeholders. You will work closely with the sales leadership team and other cross-functional leads to examine existing business practices while identifying new initiatives that would result in time-savings and increased sales effectiveness. Examples of the strategic initiatives that will be driven by this individual include developing business enablement assets and tools, optimizing new hire sales training, creating ongoing development opportunities for sellers, and driving programs that enable revenue-generating teams to accelerate sales pipelines. You will have the opportunity to combine a passion for problem-solving, consulting, and coaching with an enthusiasm for technology to drive sales effectiveness and establish positive customer relationships with new and tenured sellers. You will be responsible for leading programs that accelerate growth and strengthen selling capabilities, partnering cross-functionally with stakeholders including all sales Lines of Business, Product Marketing Leaders, Customer Success, Marketing, Lead Development teams, and Engineering to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven success in deploying and scaling programs that drive adoption of systems, tools, and processes.
  • Provide tailored sales productivity and sales capability development for different sales personas, including onboarding, new-to-industry, new-to-sales, new-to-Absolute, and developing future leaders.
  • Develop and implement customized strategies to improve sales productivity based on leadership input, addressing Line of Business (LOB) sales team opportunities and challenges.
  • Perform detailed needs assessments in collaboration with various organizational stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear project requirements for scalable and repeatable initiatives, including translation and localization.
  • Respond rapidly to evolving business needs by providing productivity-enhancing programs, processes, and content.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding programs for new hires, including a 30/60/90-day success plan.
  • Build and deliver content and training to enable sales teams to identify, support, and close opportunities.
  • Drive adoption of mechanisms that simplify sales acceleration programs and promote pipeline growth.
  • Create seller development opportunities using various engagement techniques and delivery methods, including classroom-based and virtual learning.
  • Develop implementation plans and communicate strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Own front-to-end progress against targeted objectives, identify project roadblocks, research root causes, and manage resolutions.
  • Design and implement metrics to measure adoption, impact, and effectiveness of programs.
  • Measure and report on program adoption, impact, and effectiveness via dashboards and recurring reports.
  • Maintain scheduled deadlines, detailed training, and initiative status reports, and optimize project management processes.
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers.

Requirements

  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to drive programs from start to finish.
  • Bachelor of Arts/Business/Science or equivalent field experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an enterprise sales organization.
  • Preferably in SaaS technology with a background in Sales, Product Marketing, or Sales Enablement.
  • Experience supporting commercial and public sectors is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of program management skills.
  • Proficient understanding of the sales process and sales enablement needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid presentation skills and a confident presence with credibility in front of sales teams and leadership globally.
  • Ability to plan, create, and edit training videos using authoring software like Articulate 360, Camtasia, etc.
  • Ability to take initiative, own projects, and work independently as required.
  • Ability to work remotely across USA and international time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Experience successfully building and leading an onboarding program.
  • Experience supporting channel partner enablement.
  • Proficient knowledge of utilizing MEDDPICC Sales Methodology.
  • Solid comprehension of the Adult Learning Theory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Business, Science, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP or Agile Project Management certification is a plus.
