RFP Writer, Fixed Income

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Write a high volume of RFPs for Fixed Income strategies across global institutional and retail channels, supporting other asset classes as needed.
• Liaise with various departments to collect information needed to respond to requests, including portfolio management, product management/marketing, legal, operations, AUM reporting, and performance.
• Create and maintain RFP language and content for assigned strategies, including investment process, research process, team information, and competitive advantages.
• Maintain consistent product messaging and updated product language in the RFP database.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Traders, and others to update existing RFP language and develop new language.
• Customize final documents to reflect specific sales opportunities.
• Handle follow-up work related to RFPs, including coordinating answers and additional information.
• Oversee production of final proposals, including formatting, technical editing, and reproduction.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Field ad-hoc questions from the Client Response Center Team as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the fixed income and asset management industry.
• Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Demonstrated desire and ability to learn technical information related to investment processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, and able to quickly master internal systems.
• College education required.
• 3-5 years of RFP and industry experience preferred.
• Direct experience with Fixed Income RFP content is a significant plus.
