About the Role

The Roundel Account Manager - Electronics role at Target involves developing and managing multi-channel, integrated digital marketing strategies for Roundel clients. The position emphasizes building strong client relationships, delivering effective media plans, and staying current with industry trends. Working within Target's marketing organization, the role supports Target's broader mission to connect with guests through innovative and cohesive marketing efforts, leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and industry leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key client contact for high-level annual planning and program-level strategies, delivering highly-integrated and effective media plans for Roundel's top accounts.
  • Own authorship and inputs for client campaign proposals, including building audience strategies, media mix allocations, and creative and media strategies aligned with client priorities and insights.
  • Consult with internal partners to understand category trends and marketing needs.
  • Attend client meetings and present strategic recommendations based on client objectives, providing guidance on specific media tactics.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends in retail and digital advertising to identify opportunities and tests to enhance client service.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Reporting & Insights, Analytics, Sales, Trading & Ad Ops, and Channel Development to deliver and execute results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of proven digital media planning, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding and experience within Digital Marketing and Media.
  • Knowledge of ad serving, ad networks, and the overall landscape.
  • Hands-on experience with media planning systems and tools such as Operative One, DCM, DFP or similar ad serving platforms.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and drive results in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Superior time management and multitasking skills for managing multiple projects and campaigns.
  • Ability to articulate and defend creative and media directions to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional understanding of the full media planning process from strategy to execution.
  • Passion for uncovering new media opportunities to drive incremental business.
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and maximize relationships internally and externally.
