About the Role

The (S) Seasonal Marketing Specialist at SXSW, LLC. is responsible for supporting integrated marketing campaigns across SXSW and SXSW EDU. The role involves campaign production, asset coordination, and team communication, with a focus on reaching diverse audiences through email marketing, trade partnerships, and event activations. Key Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across email, web, radio, television, and digital or print advertising.
Coordinate assets and timelines for marketing initiatives and trade partners.
Track deliverables and maintain shared documentation across shared project management tools.
Monitor team inboxes and route inquiries appropriately.
Help prepare campaign reports, asset trackers, and post-event summaries.
Support brand partnerships, ad trades, and community marketing initiatives.
Provide insights and identify new opportunities through data analysis.
Assist with on-site execution of marketing activations during SXSW and SXSW EDU events.

Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, communications, or a related field.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Proactive communicator with a collaborative mindset.
Proficiency with tools such as GSuite, Airtable, HubSpot, and Slack.
Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with coding, photo editing, and design suites.
Must be based in Austin, Texas, and able to reliably work from the SXSW office during the term of the contract.
Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during the lead-up to and during SXSW and SXSW EDU.
