About the Role

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for actively engaging customers and potential customers, making and answering sales calls and emails, and providing customer quotes at the best market value. This position involves maintaining up-to-date product costs to aid in providing accurate quotes. Key Responsibilities

  • Correspond with customers via phone, email, ILS, Aeroxchange, and Parts base for requests for price, availability, and lead time for the sale of parts and repairs.
  • Enter vendor quotes into the system to ensure an accurate fair market value (FMV).
  • Utilize company business system (Quantum Control) and portal data to identify and document customer needs and maintain continuous communication regarding open part orders, SPECS, and part availability.
  • Gather information regarding airline fleets and possible changes to the fleets.
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives to support assigned customer accounts.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company personnel.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients, including spare packages.
  • Identify and contact sales prospects and other accounts as assigned.
  • Follow up on existing customers to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Create and manage sales orders until the order is fulfilled.
  • Broker parts when necessary and notify Product Line Managers when parts should be sent out for repair.
  • Push parts packages to customers and follow up on Repair Orders to ensure parts are delivered as quoted.
  • Assist accounting with collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Conduct follow-up for, and maintain a knowledge base of, paperwork, trace, and certifications of aviation parts.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly task and project trackers.
  • Make outbound calls to strengthen relationships, generate new business, and increase sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year sales experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year in the aviation industry.
  • High school or GED equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret data sets and metrics to improve personal sales performance.
