Job Description

About the Role

The Sales Account Executive is a client facing outside sales role operating within an assigned region for Eurofins Built Environment Testing Division. The role involves identifying and managing client accounts and business opportunities related to indoor air quality testing, including mold, asbestos, Legionella, and similar services. The position requires travel throughout the region, building relationships, and promoting Eurofins services to sustain business growth and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and manage client accounts and business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Travel throughout the region to meet with clients and promote Eurofins services.
  • Cold call and take initiative to bring in new business while cultivating existing relationships.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Provide sales forecasts, develop account plans, and track sales activities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and Master Service Agreements with customers.
  • Follow up on leads, bids, quotes, and proposals to close sales and meet revenue goals.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and resolve collection issues as needed.
  • Communicate customer needs to internal teams and advocate for clients.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to develop new products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a service industry.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel.
  • Knowledge of the environmental industry, specifically indoor air quality laboratory testing.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement account and sales plans.
  • Proficiency with working computer skills and familiarity with lab functions and terminology.
  • Analytical and planning skills, self-directed work style.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Nice to Have

  • Sales-specific skills such as prospect identification, interviewing, negotiating, and closing.
  • Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred.
  • Experience with writing sales and account plans.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Sciences or related field preferred but not required.
