This is why we are seeking a driven, curious, relentless, and relationship-focused problem-solver to join our team as a Sales Account Manager in our Chicago, IL location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong relationships with our customers by managing and growing accounts.
  • Build profitable sales in an assigned territory, calling on customers within the oil and gas industry mainly focusing on the downstream and midstream business segment.
  • Build additional sales with current customers and demonstrate commitment to prospecting and new business development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-tier service, technical support, safe and innovative solutions to our customers.
  • Prioritize selling time and results to effectively manage your sales funnel and territory.
  • Be relentless to win back lost customers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a similar role within the B2B sales environment and a demonstrated track record of success in building relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Self-directed and focused on outcomes, with the ability to take initiative, act decisively, and deliver results.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Good listener with curiosity, passion for learning about customer needs, solving problems, and winning business.
  • Ability to plan and prepare for effective sales calls, make persuasive presentations, handle objections, negotiate, demonstrate value, and close deals.
  • A bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, especially in downstream and midstream segments.
  • Experience with digital tools and technical support in sales.
