About the Role

The Sales Analytics Director at Alcami Corporation is responsible for providing analytical support to the sales force, including incentive compensation, targeting, territory alignment, sales reporting, and field performance management. The role involves using existing data assets or developing new ones to extract insights that drive business goals, improve sales operations efficiency, and inform strategic decisions. This position requires extensive cross-departmental contact and support at all organizational levels, including senior management. It is a 100% on-site, full-time role based in Durham, North Carolina, with a focus on delivering reliable solutions that support transformative medicines from discovery to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare advanced analyses to identify and communicate trends and drivers to the business.
  • Routinely prepare and analyze Win/Loss rate data from CRM.
  • Forecast and support revenue burn from future deals.
  • Maintain KPI metrics for Commercial Operations and Business Development reporting.
  • Develop and maintain visual dashboards for sales Operations, Business Development, and across multiple teams.
  • Support, develop, and ensure ongoing adherence to sales incentive compensation plans for sales teams.
  • Participate in sales compensation plan design for eligible sales team members.
  • Review quarterly incentive compensation payouts in collaboration with the Sales Operations team.
  • Support the month-end reporting and incentive compensation process, including preparing reports and compensation data for executive review.
  • Support sales territory management, including territory mapping and related documentation.
  • Provide input into commercial discussions as part of the Commercial and Finance teams.
  • Develop new processes and workflows to improve sales operations effectiveness.
  • Proactively analyze sales performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of sales-support tools.
  • Analyze and report on sales KPIs by channel and region.
  • Support sales tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Power BI dashboards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support miscellaneous projects as needed.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify areas for efficiency improvements and implement solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, or related analytical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in CDMO sales operation and business development.
  • Prior pharmaceutical or CDMO laboratory services work experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and reporting skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office Suite and database management.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, research, and administrative teams.
  • Ability to convert analyses into understandable and persuasive presentations.
  • Ability to access data from various databases and provide decision-making recommendations.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Works independently with high self-motivation.
