Sales Development Executive Advisor

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to support customer meetings, presentations, and ad hoc requests, while driving regional sales growth through competitive insights and tailored solutions.
• Lead the execution and adoption of sales enablement tools and processes, supporting training deployment and strategic initiatives.
• Translate industry intelligence into strategies and solutions that address customer sustainability challenges, especially in the Western region.
• Coordinate responses to new Requests for Proposal (RFP) and onboarding of new business, including customer engagement on the NBRF process and collaboration with supply chain and operations.
• Co-manage and maintain all Foodservice reference materials and online inquiry routing for the Foodservice business.
• Manage the folding-carton portion of the stock Foodservice portfolio, including product introductions, transitions, and aged inventory, and support new product commercialization.
• Drive product innovation incorporating sustainability insights and market needs.
• Advance brand equity initiatives through the integration of GPI logos across key stock-printed SKUs.
• Co-manage e-marketing platforms such as ACES, website, JavaStock, and the sample center.
• Support sales and marketing reporting, including financial and external customer-specific analysis.
• Collaborate with Marketing on initiatives supporting sales growth and product innovation.
• Own the Weekly Specials communication, curating headlines, trends, and industry developments.
• Support the optimization of commercial systems and platforms like Salesforce, QlikCloud, Cup, and SAP.
• Manage all aspects of Industry and Customer trade shows, including travel as needed.
• Represent Foodservice interests in customer sustainability programs, regulatory discussions, and industry forums.

Requirements

• BA or equivalent plus 10 years of related experience, or MA plus 8 years of related experience.
• Strong preference for experience in the Foodservice industry in marketing and sustainability.
• Demonstrated comprehension of strategic thinking, financial analysis, marketing and sales concepts, supply chain, and manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to successfully manage complex projects and build positive working relationships.
• Desire to lead key commercial programs and manage multiple work streams without missing deadlines.
• Ability to be a fast learner.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Sales and Customers.
• Time management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Foodservice industry in marketing and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Educational background: BA or equivalent, or MA.

• Pay range of $115,350 - $153,800.
