Key Responsibilities

Prospect and run Heartland Point of Sale presentations in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals within a fast sales cycle.
Explain our value proposition and demonstrate our cloud-based Point of Sale solution.
Upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services.
Maintain regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
Work closely with the District Manager to set appointments with business owners via your network and referral partnerships.
Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales.
Attend training sessions with your District Manager to learn our short-cycle sales process using CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce.
Prospect new clients and maintain existing/prospective client records in the CRM system.
Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first-time appointments to secure quota.
Build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio and industry developments.
Attend weekly team meetings and one-on-one sessions with leaders.

Requirements

18 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license for regular driving to client sites.
Completion of mandatory drug screening and background check.
Ability to be in the field at least 75% of the time.
Live in area relative to job posting location.
Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Incentive-driven sales “hunter” mentality.
Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity.
High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
Enjoys cold-calling and face-to-face conversations.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry.
High school diploma/GED.
At least two years of relevant experience.

Base Salary: $40,000.
Residual Income from your efforts.
Monthly/Quarterly Bonuses for exceeding quota.
Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+.
