About the Role

The Sales/Administrative Manager oversees a sales team within the medical device industry, focusing on achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and supporting strategic business growth. The role involves leadership, sales strategy, and execution, with interactions across management, internal departments, and external customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a sales team to achieve sales targets, build customer relationships, and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of 3 W-2 employees and 1099s.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, plans, and tactics to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Manage and support a team of 1099 distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, and distributors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase market intelligence of medical device products.
  • Provide product training, demonstrations, and support to customers and 1099 distributors.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service departments to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and reports using Salesforce.
  • Conduct regular sales calls/outreach with distributors to strengthen relationships.
  • Act as the main contact between the company and 1099 representatives, facilitating communication, feedback, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and track all sales activity for all 1099s reporting to the sales manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven sales experience.
  • 5 years in a managerial role is preferred.
  • Experience managing a sales team and 1099s.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Book of Business / Network of Clients.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce / CRM tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the medical device, manufacturing, or pharma industry, preferably selling PRP to medi spas, dermatologists, vet clinics, hospitals.
