Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect / Lead

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Salesforce Marketing domain expert with a strong understanding of Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud features and functions
• Act as subject matter expert in email marketing and automation, continuously improving campaign efficiency and accuracy
• Lead the implementation of new Salesforce Marketing Cloud opportunities and perform hands-on configuration and setup tasks
• Collaborate with senior staff in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and supporting modules, interfaces, workflows, and applications for the Marketing Cloud platform
• Partner with clients to drive marketing strategies with content, relevancy, smart segmentation, and personalization
• Work with cross-functional teams to assist in creating and managing automated customer journeys
• Create, run, and analyze reporting data to monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven insights

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience with SFMC projects, including leadership on at least 5 full-scale projects
• Hands-on experience delivering digital marketing solutions such as lead automation, campaign management, loyalty programs, CRM management, and omni-channel marketing
• Proven expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud technologies, implementations, and best practices
• Ability to evaluate client marketing needs and provide technical effort estimates with timelines and resource requirements
• Deep understanding of marketing best practices, communication channels, and industry trends
• Knowledge of data modeling, process documentation, and developing technical integration approaches
• Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile implementation methodologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple programs simultaneously
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Nice to Have

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant and Data Cloud Consultant certifications
• Extensive experience with SFMC implementations including Data Cloud, Journey Builder, Interaction Studio, Mobile Studio, Social Studio, and Connectors
• Strong knowledge of integrations with back-end systems and other Salesforce systems
• Understanding of cloud-based platform architecture including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure

Qualifications

• Experience in leading SFMC projects for 7+ years
• Proven track record with digital marketing solutions and Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations
• Relevant certifications preferred
