About the Role

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist is a multi-channel marketing specialist responsible for delivering campaigns across digital and non-digital media. This role involves ongoing development of Salesforce.com/Marketing Cloud deployment, creating solutions for business owners that include journeys, automations, data extensions, email, SMS, print, content management, and data analysis. The position is a 5-month freelance assignment with a fully remote work environment, supporting a major healthcare/retail client.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for multi-channel campaign execution including segmentation, design, and reporting.
Build multi-channel marketing journeys using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including email, print, phone, and mobile touchpoints.
Perform day-to-day marketing operations such as campaign set-up, segmentation, scheduling, testing, tagging, and deployment.
Conduct audience and list segmentation and contact management using SQL.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and reduce execution complexity.

Requirements

Experience with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred; may include experience with ExactTarget, Adobe Experience Cloud, Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, IBM Watson, etc.).
3+ years of professional experience.
1+ years of multi-channel marketing operations experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a strong foundation in email marketing.

Qualifications

Experience with marketing automation platforms, especially Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Professional experience of at least 3 years.
At least 1 year of multi-channel marketing operations experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
