About the Role

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform Operations Manager at Regions is responsible for managing and optimizing the Marketing Cloud platform to execute marketing strategies, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth. The role involves overseeing platform configuration, support, and maintenance, with a focus on email and webpage marketing best practices, automation, and data management within Marketing Cloud. The position requires a strong understanding of Marketing Cloud functionalities and proven experience in campaign execution and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the Marketing Cloud platform, including user setup, configuration, roles/permissions, and overall platform maintenance.
Maintain the Marketing Cloud platform by diagnosing and resolving technical and operational issues.
Ensure the platform's features such as Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder are properly utilized and integrated.
Collaborate with IT to design and configure the technical architecture of systems utilizing Marketing Cloud.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements aligned with business objectives.
Maintain subscriber data management, including managing data extensions and configuring data imports and exports.
Support and support the day-to-day operations of the platform, including content creation, automation, and delivery.
Monitor and optimize campaign performance metrics and key indicators.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the platform.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Marketing, or a closely related field.
Eight (8) years of experience in database marketing with campaign strategy and execution, including querying relational databases such as Oracle.
At least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related role.
Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and features.
Experience with subscriber data management and data structure configuration.
Knowledge of marketing technology integrations, including APIs, ETL processes, and multi-tier system architectures.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with the software development life cycle.
Ability to manage large-scale projects and multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with UNICA marketing tools including campaign and Interact.
Experience in program management and large-scale projects.
Certification in SAS Base or Advanced Programmer.
Experience with coding, testing, and implementing campaign data using Salesforce, Unica, Pega Customer Decision Hub, or Oracle Real Time Decisions.
Advanced knowledge of Interact workflow processes.

Qualifications

Educational background as specified in requirements (Bachelor's degree in relevant field).
Experience in database marketing and campaign execution.
Supervisory experience in related roles.
