SAP (Director) Solution Archtitect / Pre-Sales

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP pre-sales efforts, including winning large and complex deals in projects, AS/AMS areas.
• Build go-to-market offerings strategies and solutions.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships with SAP product teams and clients.
• Drive sales opportunities from initiation to closure.
• Deliver tailored customer solutions with accurate estimations.
• Provide technical and business consultative leadership during pre-sales and post-sales cycles for large enterprise ERP implementations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and related SAP product suites, acting as a strategic advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide process expertise and solutions in Supply Chain and Manufacturing, including integration with other SAP ERP modules.
• Collaborate with sales and presales teams to plan account strategies and develop content for qualification and demonstration.
• Engage with customers through executive meetings, solution workshops, and design sessions, articulating SAP solutions' business value.
• Identify and evaluate solution options, making recommendations on best strategies and opportunity timelines.
• Create business requirements documents, process maps, high-level solution design diagrams, and scope of works.
• Ensure formal handoff of design and cost estimation to delivery teams for executed deals.
• Guide deep cross-functional discovery based on industry best practices and SAP customer experiences.
• Stay updated on SAP product roadmaps and trends to influence presales strategies.
• Assist in developing proposals for RFIs/RFPs and drive solution messaging.
• Build strong business cases for cloud migration and transformation, emphasizing ROI and TCO.
• Deliver customized demos, workshops, and presentations to showcase SAP's cloud portfolio.
• Collaborate with SAP technical and implementation teams for seamless transition from presales to delivery.
• Monitor market and competitive trends in SAP cloud landscape to keep strategies relevant.
• Train team members on technical aspects of SAP service offerings and products.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in SAP presales, solution architecture, SAP consulting, with a focus on cloud products.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and other SAP modules such as Finance and Supply Chain.
• Deep understanding of SAP's cloud product suite, including S/4HANA Cloud and BTP.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to translate technical details into business value-driven solutions.
• Experience in industries like manufacturing or Life Sciences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on expertise and experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain analysis.
• Experience with SAP product roadmaps and trends.
• Experience in developing proposals for RFIs/RFPs.
