About the Role

The Senior Manager, SASE Product GTM at Palo Alto Networks is responsible for leading and executing innovative go-to-market strategies for the company's SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) portfolio. This role involves driving GTM activation and scaling for new SASE product innovations and sales plays, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer teams to ensure product success in the market. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, near Santa Clara, CA, and offers an environment that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop deep expertise in SASE product capabilities and roadmap, and partner with Product and Marketing teams to shape GTM strategies for new innovations and capabilities, including market positioning and target customer segments.
  • Design and drive go-to-market plans, including messaging, enablement, launch readiness, competitive differentiation, and sales plays, translating product vision into actionable GTM initiatives to drive customer adoption and revenue growth.
  • Actively participate in customer and sales engagements to evangelize the product, capture feedback, and refine GTM strategies and assets based on market insights.
  • Analyze product adoption trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform GTM decisions, define success metrics, track performance, and optimize GTM programs.
  • Lead alignment across key GTM stakeholders—including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success—to ensure consistent execution against shared business goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Go-to-Market, Product Management, or equivalent roles in enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity industries, with a preference for SASE/Networking/Cybersecurity experience.
  • Proven ability to understand technical products quickly and develop strategic GTM discussions with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience incubating early products or sales programs and scaling them to significant revenue levels on a global scale.
  • Comfort with presentations to customers and large field teams to evangelize product visions, value propositions, and GTM motions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to execute aligned GTM plans with a fast iterative process.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging technical, business, and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise Technology SaaS Sales Process and GTM strategies based on product maturity.
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as SFDC, Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs), and Tableau.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to activate sales motions and support field activities in North America and EMEA.

  • Experience with leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or networking industries.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA.
