Key Responsibilities

  • Secure Planned Service Agreements with new and existing customers, focusing on video services and digital services including proactive health.
  • Reactivate, add-on, and make minor modifications to out-of-service locations to recapture recurring revenue and acquire new customers.
  • Sell our complete services portfolio to new and existing customers to drive results and improve attach rates.
  • Work daily with district sales leaders (CSMs) managing metrics using dashboards and tools.
  • Identify opportunities through data sources such as Salesforce, ADMIN, 55 Day list, Power BI RIF List, and field/phone blitzes.
  • Network with Centers of Influence like property managers and conduct face-to-face marketing.
  • Follow the SPIN Selling Sales Call Process to ensure customers understand our value proposition.
  • Market and introduce JCI digital services to existing customers and prospects.
  • Use approved marketing materials to present sales proposals, highlighting product and service benefits.
  • Target non-JCI customers to add services or take over existing contracts.
  • Identify prospects via creative lead-generating techniques, including data mining and Power BI RIF Database.
  • Convert existing customer systems to meet customer expectations.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, products, programs, and services.
  • Follow up with prospects, prepare final contracts, process work orders, and complete paperwork.
  • Conduct post-installation follow-up to ensure customer commitments are met and maintain customer retention.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, capable of engaging senior-level executives.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule and be available for local travel.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a successful commercial sales representative in security, IT, or other technology sales industries, with a proven record of meeting and exceeding quotas.

  • College degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales within security, IT, or technology industries.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
