Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of security solutions to enhance product and supply chain security and transparency.
  • Develop product security tests, design and develop penetration tests to improve product security and factory environments.
  • Conduct cryptographic security testing and validation.
  • Contribute to the development of automated solutions and tools to improve supply chain process efficiency.
  • Design security enhancements, updates, and programming changes for systems software including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
  • Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities based on security requirements and overall architecture.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-quality security and software solutions.
  • Support application and systems security strategy, architecture, and roadmaps; review application architectures, code, and system services from a security perspective.
  • Write and execute security testing plans, protocols, and documentation; identify and debug issues with code and integration.
  • Lead project teams of software engineers and development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate and communicate with management and partners regarding project status and issue resolution.
  • Represent the software systems engineering team throughout all phases of development projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Typically 4-6 years of experience in software development and security.
  • Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages.
  • Experience with relational database management systems and query languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Strong experience with modern programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, including frameworks for APIs and UI development.
  • Knowledge of security tools like Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, vulnerability scanning, network mapping, and packet analysis.
  • Experience in software architecture for products, solutions, and IT systems.
  • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, web-based attacks (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF), and web protocols.
  • Experience with encryption methods and their applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing software systems for multiple platforms.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including writing and executing test plans, debugging, and scripting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.
  • Security certifications are preferred (e.g., Security+, CEH, PenTest+, CSTA, OSCP).
