About the Role

Qatar Airways is embarking on an exciting transformation journey to enhance customer interaction. The company is recruiting for the role of Senior Account Manager - Leisure Sales, which can be based out of any of their US outstations. The role involves managing relationships with leisure customers, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth through partnerships and marketing activities. The position offers flexibility for hybrid or fully remote work depending on the location.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with Qatar Airways Leisure clients.
Prepare account development plans to achieve short, medium, and long-term mutual benefits.
Contribute to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximize revenue, reduce cost of sale, and generate channel shift where appropriate.
Review QR sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue.
Manage and coordinate projects and initiatives within the area of responsibility.
Develop tactical sales and marketing activities to support sales opportunities in trade partners.
Maximize value from marketing spend and manage individual expenditure budgets.
Provide regular market intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.
Represent QR at trade events, promotions, and sales functions, including supporting educational and familiarization visits.
Maximize sales opportunities through value-added partners such as tourism bodies, hotels, alliance, and codeshare partners.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or BA or equivalent with 3 years of job-related experience.
Relevant customer-facing commercial experience within the travel industry, ideally within aviation.
Experience in negotiating contracts.
PC literate with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Experience in Airline Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years/ BA or equivalent with 3 years of job related experience.
