About the Role

As the Senior Designer - User Experience, you will build intuitive, essential, and delightful experiences for internal and external stakeholders. Your primary focus will be creating, optimizing, and consolidating dashboards into more holistic products, serving both internal and external stakeholders, and enabling them to effectively manage insights, decisions, and next steps related to critical areas of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design development by applying advanced design principles and best practices to create visually appealing and cohesive experiences across the platform.
  • Drive aesthetics and contribute to design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage and execute all stages of the design process, including idea creation, workflow diagrams, interaction design, wireframes, design comps, and interactive prototypes.
  • Leverage visuals and prototypes to effectively communicate complex concepts within the organization.
  • Champion user-centric design by actively participating in the creative process and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Lead customer interviews, user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to refine design solutions.
  • Drive informed design decisions and improvements based on research, user feedback, and usability testing results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and translate it into actionable design enhancements.
  • Provide expertise on accessibility, support compliance testing, and product remediation aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to review and analyze user data to support design decisions aimed at improving user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of work experience with a focus on product design and UI across platforms such as Power BI, Power Apps, and other cloud-based applications (MS Power Pages is a plus).
  • Proven success as a designer with complex, data-intensive products and services, supported by a strong online design portfolio.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Deep understanding of product design methodologies and lifecycle across multiple channels and platforms.
  • User-centered mindset with experience leveraging design research to uncover insights and inform decisions.
  • Self-sufficient in managing design responsibilities, balancing iterative work with milestones with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency with design systems and tools, including pattern libraries, repositories, and internal communication platforms.
  • General awareness of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and their impact on design implementation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Power Pages.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Business or related technical fields.
  • Experience with product design and UI for data-intensive products.
  • Demonstrable success with complex products and a strong online portfolio.
