About the Role

The Senior Brand Manager, US - Graco Home position is a critical leadership role at Newell Brands with P&L responsibility for the Foods Division and leadership of the marketing function. The role focuses on delivering current year financial goals and preparing for the upcoming year, leveraging brand management and innovation leadership experience to drive omnichannel growth across multiple sales channels within a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist leadership in building the annual brand plans by supporting with data, insights and reporting to help understand business performance and formulate actions for improvement
Lead initiatives that impact the Food P&L statement and develop financial management skills
Translate business priorities into brand objectives, strategies and plans, and inspire consumers through product performance, pricing, and positioning
Lead market share and business reporting, leveraging all data sources to understand brand health, identify opportunities, and recommend initiatives to grow the business
Identify opportunities to grow the base business and lead the cross-functional team to execute plans to achieve growth targets focusing on distribution, pricing, promotion, merchandising, and advertising
Partner with category strategy and development to build growth programs for retailers that drive category and brand growth
Lead projects across functions, ensuring timely delivery and strong cross-functional leadership
Support eCommerce channel strategies, including media mix, assortment recommendations, SEO, and PDP development
Attract, retain, and build a high-performance team
Manage P&L including complexity reduction, launching innovation, and driving revenue and margin growth
Develop omnichannel strategic plans, including product assortments, key features, and partner with marketing to build winning assortments and strategies
Leverage analytics and data sources such as Google Analytics, DTC metrics, and other tools to identify growth opportunities and improve business performance
Collaborate with all key functions including Sales, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Distribution, Customer Service, IT, Finance, HR, and Legal to drive profitable sales

Requirements

A four-year college degree, MBA preferred
8+ years of brand management experience including deep marketing, innovation, and general management
Proven ability in talent management, attracting and retaining top talent, and coaching for growth
Industry experience in CPG and hardlines, with success in both areas
Experience as a brand steward, building and implementing brand architecture and driving brand value across consumer channels
Strong digital marketing skills including DTC, eCommerce, and Retailer Media Networks
Deep experience in gleaning consumer insights and leveraging analytics from primary and secondary research, POS results, and competitor actions
Proven success leading teams as a servant leader, guiding and improving team performance
Key leadership traits such as empathy, integrity, accountability, resilience, vision, creativity, and positivity

Nice to Have

Experience with omnichannel strategic planning and execution
Familiarity with performance marketing and progress tracking against goals

Qualifications

Four-year college degree, MBA preferred
