About the Role

As a Senior Digital Services Manager at Intermountain Health, you'll apply an enterprise, cross-platform view as you lead the research, strategy, planning, execution, successful delivery, and ongoing product ownership of projects and digital channel activities within your designated Digital Services program area(s). The role involves developing program and channel roadmaps and strategies, managing project timelines, ensuring ongoing success of initiatives surrounding internal, caregiver-facing digital platforms, and partnering with business and clinical leaders to recommend and implement best practices and improvements. You will lead governance initiatives, design and track training programs, and influence organizational strategy through leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and refine program strategies, lead governance initiatives, and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to designated program budgets.
  • Inspire and influence others on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your program(s).
  • Interview caregivers, analyze program data, research industry trends, and emerging technologies to inform program development.
  • Provide leadership to other technology managers and stakeholders, influencing organizational strategy.
  • Mentor managers, analysts, and other team members on best practices.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and align program focus to deliver transformational outcomes.
  • Lead cultural change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Map end-to-end workflows, automate processes where possible, and facilitate program governance.
  • Identify and implement policy and procedures to drive outcomes, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Contribute to the lifecycle of digital products including identifying use cases, testing, deployment planning, and ensuring solutions are scalable and minimize technical debt.
  • Establish program performance KPIs, prepare and present executive reports, and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead program evaluations using methods such as ethnography, design thinking, and journey mapping.
  • Conduct technology vendor analysis and facilitate contracting processes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supporting software products, leading process improvement initiatives using data and metrics, and project management.
  • Experience in Information Technology, Marketing, or related fields supporting digital solutions, including end-to-end program delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five years of related experience supporting digital solutions, managing programs, and leading process improvements.
  • Industry recognized certifications such as PMP or similar, Scrum Master, Salesforce Service Cloud/Experience Cloud/Einstien Discovery, ServiceNow CSA, or relevant certifications.
  • Experience with design thinking, journey mapping, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to develop project plans, set priorities, and review deliverables.
  • Experience with digital technologies including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and emerging trends.
  • Physical ability to see, read, communicate verbally, manipulate equipment, and use a computer regularly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with user adoption and training.
  • Experience leading large-scale design workshops and mapping processes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare digital platforms and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five years of related experience supporting digital solutions, project management, or supporting software products.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar preferred.
