About the Role

The Senior Director, Acquisition will own and evolve FanDuel's acquisition engine, setting strategy, defining high-value audiences, and optimizing the commercial funnel to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end acquisition strategy development to meet customer growth targets while balancing efficiency, payback, and long-term value.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all acquisition-related activities, driving alignment across Marketing, Media, Business Intelligence, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence to integrate acquisition forecasts, commercial inputs, and business drivers into strategy and execution.
  • Manage and optimize acquisition offer strategies across all regions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, attracting and nurturing talent.
  • Develop and evolve audience strategies by defining segments using market data, research, and competitive intelligence.
  • Identify and validate whitespace audience opportunities to expand into new segments with tailored value propositions.
  • Own the full-funnel acquisition experience, partnering with the Media team to optimize conversion rates.
  • Define and evolve new customer offer strategies across products, states, and moments in collaboration with pricing, promotions, and product teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of the new customer experience for maximum conversion.
  • Monitor CAC efficiency and active user growth metrics, providing acquisition inputs into budgeting and strategic investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in customer acquisition, including creating and managing media campaigns from start to finish.
  • At least 5 years in a management role with multiple direct reports.
  • Experience in developing and overseeing customer acquisition programs.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy for high-growth brands.
  • Experience with Agile development frameworks and partnering with product and engineering teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus.

Qualifications
