The Industry Product Marketing team is responsible for crafting the industry strategy across the company's verticals. We are looking for an Industries Product Marketing Senior Director to drive strategy, messaging, content, and execution across the Life Sciences industry. Our Product Marketers develop product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement to create sales trials, sales pipeline, and new customers. The role involves presenting business cases to leadership, networking with internal partners and customers, collaborating with Product leaders and Engineers, and educating Sales teams. The Senior Director will lead a team and work with cross-functional partners to showcase Salesforce as a trusted partner in the AI era. The team values leadership, innovation, fast-paced delivery, and strategic influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and drive the global industry strategy that focuses on the highest opportunity market segments and use cases.
- Partner with the product team to develop and launch industry-specific products supporting each industry's strategy.
- Lead the team of Product Marketers to define differentiated, clear, and customer-centric narrative, value propositions, positioning, and messaging for use by Marketing and Sales.
- Develop effective sales training materials and operationalize enablement to help sales teams understand product offerings, key positioning, and marketing efforts.
- Establish executive relationships with strategic technology partners for each industry.
- Drive industry thought leadership at global conferences and customer meetings through presentations to audiences of all sizes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in industry marketing or product marketing.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry.
- Experience leading and inspiring a team of marketers.
- Expertise in presenting to executive leaders and cross-functional partners, and developing compelling customer-facing presentations.
- Ability to craft a range of marketing assets including product demo videos, slide pitch-decks, and product data sheets.
- Experience with data and analytics to drive decision making and measurable marketing metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to establish excellent working relationships with cross-functional teams.
