About the Role

The Senior Director, Marketing - Americas will lead the acceleration of the Americas Marketing Team during a period of unprecedented growth in the data center and digital infrastructure markets. This role involves driving innovative marketing strategies that shape the future of critical digital infrastructure solutions across the Americas, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to create comprehensive marketing campaigns and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Vertiv Americas President, Americas Sales and Services Leadership, and the Vice President of Strategy and Portfolio Growth - Americas to develop marketing plans supporting regional growth initiatives.
  • Develops strategic marketing to establish the Americas as a thought leader in critical infrastructure solutions.
  • Leads efforts to accelerate sales enablement programs for the broader Americas Salesforce while collaborating with Vertiv Business Units.
  • Defines and implements critical marketing programs in the Americas and leads teams at public events.
  • Partners with Vertiv's Global Marketing Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment, measurement, and analysis of marketing initiatives, with a strong review cadence.
  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Prepares, leads, and executes advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Identifies new market segments that will benefit from Vertiv solutions, driven by understanding of the portfolio and market trends.
  • Leads high-performing marketing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the Americas Marketing budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in marketing and long-range planning.
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies and leading teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Ability to analyze market data and identify effective marketing approaches.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
