About the Role

The National Wooden Pallet & Container Association (NWPCA) is seeking a versatile, creative leader to be the next Senior Director of Marketing, guiding innovative marketing for programs, products, and services. This role involves bringing a new marketing perspective to the organization’s lean, inspired staff and supporting the ongoing expansion of NWPCA as the thought, information, and advocacy leader for wooden pallets and wooden transport packaging solutions. The Senior Director will contribute to organizational growth, enhance brand recognition, and influence the industry through strategic marketing, branding, and content activities. NWPCA is based in Alexandria, VA, operates on a hybrid schedule, and has a budget of over $5 million with up to 18 staff members, serving more than 800 company members in 40 countries.

Key Responsibilities

Guide innovative marketing strategies for programs, products, and services to support organizational growth.
Develop and execute NWPCA's strategic marketing, branding, and content activities.
Collaborate across all functions of the organization to strengthen NWPCA's brand and position.
Serve as the central hub for all marketing initiatives within the organization.
Supervise a small marketing team and foster a collaborative, creative environment.

Requirements

Experience in strategic marketing, branding, and content development.
Ability to collaborate across organizational functions and influence organizational growth.
Strong leadership skills with supervisory experience.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a strategic mindset and tactical capability.
Passion for data-driven decision-making and driving sustainable results.
