Senior Engagement Strategist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creation and evolution of omni-channel strategies and journeys by aligning business objectives with audience needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate and deliver solutions to increase plan sponsor and consultant engagement aligned to business objectives.
• Present and recommend solutions to senior leaders, internal partners, and stakeholders.
• Partner with advertising team and media agency to launch campaigns and journeys through paid media channels.
• Connect paid, owned, and earned channels and coordinate efforts across marketing teams.
• Develop audience measures and campaign-specific KPIs in partnership with marketing analytics.
• Identify initial problem statements and ABM opportunities with marketing strategists, set learning agendas, and collaborate with researchers to design audience research.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights to improve campaign management and make data-driven decisions.
• Lead campaign discovery and stakeholder analysis, including conducting stakeholder interviews to establish audience needs.
• Conduct additional research activities such as competitive analysis, content audits, and marketing technology assessments.
• Partner with internal research groups and external firms as needed.
• Consult on marketing tactics with channel strategists and digital marketing strategists.
• Develop experimentation plans with digital marketing strategists and data analysts.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Partner with project management to prepare marketing plan deliverables for leadership.
• Lead performance review meetings in partnership with marketing analytics teams.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum five years of related experience, including two years in digital marketing, user experience, or client experience.
• Experience working in the Financial Services sector or equivalent B2B experience, particularly in Defined Contributions.
• Experience building paid media campaigns.
• Ability to define objectives and develop cohesive strategies that drive business results.
• Ability to understand and communicate customer needs and business strategies.
• Proficiency in presenting ideas both verbally and visually using PowerPoint and Word.
• High degree of creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple strategic assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to manage ambiguity to achieve results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong persuasion and influence skills.

Qualifications

• Educational background includes an undergraduate degree or equivalent training and experience.
