Senior Graphic Designer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work within a larger creative team and collaborate/support the goals of the organization.
• Participate in and initiate client team discussions to brainstorm key messages and provide thought leadership.
• Design customized deliverables such as new graphical elements that visually capture the message for documents and presentations.
• Design sophisticated presentations that incorporate animations, transitions, interactivity, and creative storytelling.
• Provide exceptional client service, meet deadlines, and proactively identify issues impacting service commitments.
• Interact with department management and senior leadership.
• Uphold and strive to innovate within brand standard guidelines and established operational procedures, pushing boundaries of custom design solutions.
• Develop underlying implementation plans for new Design department strategies.
• Identify the need for, and assist in development/integration of, new standards, procedures, and creative design tools and resources.
• Take full ownership and manage day-to-day projects of assigned work.
• Coach other team members by providing art direction and support the development of junior designers through troubleshooting, technical execution, and creative conception.
• Perform any other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art or Design/Visual Communications.
• A minimum of 6 years' prior graphics experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proven leadership in design and project management, with demonstrated working knowledge of the business.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, etc., and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong design and page layout skills, with the ability to create graphic elements from scratch supporting effective updates.
• Exceptional communication skills for professional exchanges in brainstorming sessions involving cross-functional and multi-level management teams.
• Excellent understanding of print and assembly production and onsite graphic installation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high organizational skills and customer service orientation.
