Our Sales team works closely with travel agencies, United travel departments, corporate clients and more to provide phenomenal customer solutions that lead to fruitful business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of account managers to achieve United's SME corporate sales objectives.
  • Coach and develop sales talent through expert coaching on portfolio management, effective communication, sales marketing, account strategy, time management, and sales tool utilization (including Salesforce CRM platform).
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve United's share and revenue.
  • Foster excellent working relationships with product channel managers and sales marketing.
  • Apply successful strategies at the portfolio level and within portfolio sub-segments.
  • Utilize effective portfolio management and segmentation to provide key insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales Marketing to maximize the use and effectiveness of marketing automation to achieve increased share and revenue.
  • Assess and act upon sales opportunities using analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years' airline sales/management experience.
  • Experience building a successful team.
  • Sales coaching experience.
  • Experience utilizing a CRM tool to manage pipeline and sales activities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance.
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.

Nice to Have

  • MS Degree.
  • Industry knowledge and experience.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team.
  • Knowledge and user experience of the company's systems and data sources used within Sales.
  • Sales leadership experience.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of airline sales/management experience.
