About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Program Management on the Marketing Operations team, you will relentlessly focus on driving strategic operational excellence for Marketing's objectives and key results across multiple priorities. You'll identify and help solve complex problems across interconnected workstreams, always striving for a simpler, more streamlined way of working together and shaping the future-state of the Walmart Marketing team. You'll also serve as a thought leader, challenging the status quo and influencing without authority to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving Operational Excellence- Relentlessly contributing to a high-performance culture by aligning strategic objectives and key results across multiple marketing priorities.
  • Building Collaborative Relationships- Establishing strong relationships rooted in trust and collaboration to ensure the needs of the Marketing team and cross-functional partners are met.
  • Proactive Problem Solving- Identifying challenges and opportunities early, and resolving critical issues with a solution-oriented mindset to streamline, simplify, and enhance team efficiency.
  • Championing Innovation- Challenging the status quo and advocating for innovative approaches that improve processes and outcomes.
  • Influencing Without Authority- Inspiring and aligning stakeholders at all levels to drive results, even without direct authority.
  • Solving Complex Problems- Navigating and resolving multifaceted issues across interconnected workstreams.
  • Leadership & Development- Leading, influencing, and developing a best-in-class team of Project Managers while continuously investing in personal growth.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • 3 years of experience using intermediate Microsoft Office functionality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years of experience in marketing, project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years of experience in the above areas without a degree.
  • Strong organizational skills, ownership mindset, and ability to lead projects amidst ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field (e.g., project management, compliance, operations management).
  • 3 years of experience managing budgets, profit and loss statements, or related financial processes.
  • Project Management certification.
  • 5 years of experience planning and executing Marketing and/or Brand Campaigns, including direct collaboration with Creative and Media agencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tableau, AirTable, Smartsheet, and Workfront.
  • Ability to integrate test-and-learn, agile, and continuous improvement practices into daily work.
  • Passion for removing barriers and building the future of retail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years of experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.
  • OR 6 years of experience in the above areas without a degree.
