Senior Networking Test Automation Scripter (QA)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leads multiple project teams of software quality assurance engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of quality assurance for complex products and platforms, including testing strategy, analysis, coding, results evaluation, and proposed corrective actions.
• Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development and quality assurance partners on software and firmware design and development.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with quality assurance guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software quality assurance leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software quality assurance organization.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
• Development of scripts in Python to optimize manual test execution.
• Analyze and revise test specifications for Aruba Cloud services, Aruba Access Point, and Aruba InstantON products.
• Execute and analyze results of automated tests.
• Maintain and improve current automation scripts and libraries.
• Optimize the testing process to improve the overall quality of the products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 6-10 years of experience.
• Advanced English level.
• Experience and knowledge in testing, scripting, automation, and Python.
• Experience in networking, Wi-Fi, and cloud technologies.
• Extensive experience with multiple software quality assurance tools and processes.
• Evaluating forms and processes for software testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
• Knowledge of networking (802.*) and Wi-Fi technologies (802.11).
• Excellent knowledge of Linux.
• Ability to plan and organize work independently and for teams.

Nice to Have

• AWS certification.
• CWNA/CCNA certification.
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Additional skills such as accountability, active learning, agile methodology, design thinking, growth mindset, and managing ambiguity.
