About the Role

The Senior Paid Search Buyer (Sr. PseB) at CTC is responsible for developing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, primarily through Google Ads, to meet client KPIs. The role involves data analysis, strategic planning, creative problem-solving, and team collaboration to deliver high-performance advertising solutions in a fast-evolving digital landscape. The position emphasizes accountability, continuous learning, and leadership in campaign management and team knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans by combining data analysis and client feedback to optimize campaigns.
  • Make tactical recommendations for targeting, messaging, and campaign optimization to meet KPIs.
  • Confidently tweak and optimize campaign types, keywords, copy, audiences, and buying tactics.
  • Test various campaign elements to determine the best performing mixture and adapt strategies based on statistical outcomes.
  • Build, launch, and manage campaigns in Google Ads across multiple accounts, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Forecast future budgets and performance by analyzing historical data and industry trends.
  • Communicate campaign results and insights to clients and team members through reports and meetings.
  • Troubleshoot account errors or warnings in Google Ads and Google Merchant Center.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members and assist non-Sr buyers with tips and guidance.
  • Manage up to 10 client accounts independently within the first three to six months.

Requirements

  • Significant experience creating and optimizing multiple Google Ads accounts at scale.
  • Confident interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Shopify, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, and Copywriting.
  • Experience building, connecting, optimizing, and troubleshooting data feeds in Google Merchant Center.
  • Experience integrating Product Rating data from various aggregators into Google Merchant Center.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis to make actionable decisions.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads Desktop Editor.
  • Ability to think holistically about a brand’s digital approach from acquisition to retention.
  • Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Humility and ambition, with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Skilled in project management tools like ASANA (preferred).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes, strategies, and goals.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ASANA or relevant project management software.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience creating and optimizing multiple Google Ads accounts at scale.
