Senior Product Designer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own the designs for wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, interactions, high fidelity designs, and prototypes for medium to large sized features or initiatives for your product area.
• Collaborate with your designated 4itB (four-in-the-box) partners to uphold design and user experience quality, consistency, and alignment across all initiatives.
• Translate research insights into customer-driven experiences and leverage the design system to ensure consistency across the ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities to diverge from the design system to create or evolve new guidelines and UI patterns that can be contributed back to the design system.
• Communicate design ideas and sell concepts to team members and key stakeholders, negotiating compromises when necessary.
• Ensure design solutions are informed by the voice of the customer, partnering with your pod and design lead to identify opportunities where research can inspire, optimize, or elevate the design.
• Consider existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and platform-specific needs to produce data-informed solutions.
• Manage multiple design deliverables for various features, communicating progress, dependencies, and challenges to ensure risk mitigation and on-time delivery.
• Participate in user research activities to inform the evolution of the design solution.
• Identify and resolve high-level issues and opportunities to ensure shipped experiences match design deliverables.
• Advocate and promote design thinking practices within your pod.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience designing for large-scale desktop, mobile web, and mobile app consumer experiences.
• Proficiency using prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Experience designing with WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment as a member of a cross-functional team including product managers, researchers, developers, and business leaders.
• Experience working in and familiarity with Agile software development practices.
• Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong online or PDF portfolio demonstrating application of design thinking methodologies from discovery through delivery and optimization.

Nice to Have

• Experience leveraging design systems to achieve UI consistency across platforms and form factors.
• Strong expertise in UI design for large-scale web and mobile applications, with attention to layout, hierarchy, and accessibility.
• Experience creating high-fidelity, developer-ready UI designs and prototypes using Figma or Sketch.
• Familiarity with UX methodologies such as user flows, journey mapping, and service blueprinting.
• Experience with product development processes and solving product challenges across platforms.
• Experience using data analytics and user research to identify design opportunities.
• Advanced understanding of usability and user-centered design principles.
• Experience iterating and optimizing designs based on data and user research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.

• Salary range: $98,600 - $157,500.
